All our courses are designed to cover the full range of topics and tasks as laid down by the awarding body in response to industry requirements. All practical activities are carried out within our state of the art workshops with theory work being a mix of classroom and assignment activities.The course consists of assessment units which assess the competence of a candidate over a wide range of activities. There will be a high emphasis on Health and Safety and correct safe working practices and systems. The qualification covers the underpinning knowledge involved in electrical installation.A level 3 in Electrical is an advanced qualification and will contain Maths to the equivalency of A-levels and there is a high concentration on Design work which requires research To achieve Level 3 you must achieve 49 credits from the mandatory units. You will need folders notepads pens pencils coloured pencils a scientific calculator and an A3 size folder to hold your project in at the very minimum.
